The Project - In the
Fall of 2003, Min. Kay Randall of Shiloh Christian Church shared that
God had placed a sense of urgency in her heart that she needed to
discover how studio recordings are done and the process involved in
making a CD. She had this compelling desire to learn about studio work,
but she didn't know quite where to begin.
For
years, Rev. Pat had a burning in her heart that with all the attention
on Rap, Hip-Hop and other music forms du jour, that the hymns and
spirituals might be lost, unknown to younger generations. Preservation
of this foundational musical expression was the motivation to capture
the soul cleansing and healing power of God's gift to the Body of
Christ.
Neither of us had any prior
experience in this area of ministry. However, both of us take the voice
of God very seriously and thus "The Project" was launched.
Resources became available as needed. Kathy Doherty, Barbara Hammonds,
Denise Kirk, Gloria Lewis, and Rose Pena were ready to be used of
the Lord. Many sacrifices have been made by everyone to issue forth this
work, a planting of the Lord and we have great expectations of His
mastery in using His handmaidens to be a blessing. Our heartfelt thanks
to all the prayer warriors who supported the Project. Rev.
